We respond to valid legal process and will notify clients to the extent permitted by law.

5. Security

The Cyber Portal is SOC 2 Type II certified — our security, availability, and confidentiality controls are independently audited annually. Client data and project assets are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Access to client environments is controlled via MFA, least-privilege principles, and audit logging. Security incidents are reported to affected clients within 72 hours of discovery.

6. Cookies

Our website uses essential session cookies, Google Analytics cookies for aggregate traffic analysis, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings. We do not sell cookie or browsing data to any third party.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold by emailing info@thecyberportal.com. Idaho residents have rights under the Idaho Consumer Protection Act. California residents have rights under CCPA. EU residents have GDPR rights. We respond to all data subject requests within 30 days.

8. Retention

Enquiry and contact records are retained for 2 years. Active client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and 5 years thereafter for legal and compliance purposes. Project deliverables and source code are transferred to the client upon project completion and removed from our systems within 90 days unless retained under a support agreement.

9. Children

Our services are directed exclusively at business operators and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Policy Changes

Material changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated to active clients by email at least 30 days before taking effect. We encourage website visitors to review this page periodically. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
