Common Questions

How does a new project engagement start? +

We begin with a no-obligation discovery call — typically 45–60 minutes — where we learn about your project, goals, timeline, and budget. From there we produce a scoped Statement of Work with a fixed or time-and-materials quote depending on project type. Most projects move from first contact to signed contract in under two weeks.

Do you work with early-stage startups or only established companies? +

Both. We work with pre-seed startups building their first MVP and with enterprise clients modernizing systems that have been running for 20 years. What matters more than size is clarity of vision and commitment to the project. We'll tell you honestly if your scope and budget are aligned.

Are all your engineers based in the US? +

Yes — 100%. Our entire engineering, design, and project management team is US-based, with most team members in Idaho and the surrounding Mountain West. This matters for timezone alignment, communication quality, and for clients with US data residency or government contracting requirements.

What does a typical project cost? +

Project costs vary significantly by scope. Small internal tools or integrations can start at $15,000–$40,000. Mid-size web applications typically run $60,000–$200,000. Complex platforms, enterprise systems, or multi-phase engagements range from $200,000 and up. We're transparent about pricing from the first conversation.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch? +

Yes. Most clients move onto a monthly retainer for ongoing development, maintenance, security updates, and infrastructure management. We offer tiered support plans from basic SLA coverage to fully managed engineering teams embedded in your product roadmap.

Who owns the code you build? +

You do. All custom software developed for your project transfers to your complete ownership upon project completion and final payment. We retain no licensing rights, no ongoing royalties, and no vendor lock-in clauses. It's your code, your IP, your business asset.
